As we enter the second wave of national lockdown here are our top picks of online literary events happening this month to keep you on your toes.
Join Matt Foley and Catherine Elkin (Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies) in an event hosted by Manchester Met, with support from Romantic Bicentennials. Melmoth’s Afterlives offers a series of events that celebrate the bicentenary of the publication of Charles Maturin’s Melmoth the Wanderer (1820). Followed by a discussion of the legacy of Maturin’s novel in our contemporary moment by reading Sarah Perry’s critically praised Melmoth (2018)
Rachel Genn, a senior lecturer at Manchester Writing School, collaborates with the School of Digital Arts (SODA) at her latest book launch.
