Indie legends Bombay Bicycle Club return to Manchester on Monday 3rd February for a show at Victoria Warehouse after a six-year hiatus. With the upcoming release of their fifth album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong through Caroline International/Island Records around the corner (17th January), fans are excited to hear the new tunes and even more so to see the band play live.
In addition to the new album, Bombay Bicycle Club will head out on a 13-date UK and Ireland headline tour, with support from The Big Moon and Liz Lawrence. The tour kicks off at Cambridge Corn Exchange, on 20th January, and ends in London for a night at the prestigious Alexandra Palace.
Everything Else Has Gone Wrong is anticipated to be a huge success as it follows-up from number one chart-topping, Mercury Music Prize-nominated fourth album, So Long, See You Tomorrow. ‘Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)’, the first single to be released from the new album, and is a particular highlight. It brings about feelings of nostalgia for summer 2014 when indie music was in full swing. Jack Steadman’s dream-like, wistful vocals combined with the heaviness of the drums and trembling guitar tones make for the perfect reminiscent teen-lust anthem. Fans can only hope that the full-album will bring more of this.
