Manchester’s ultimate student shopping event returns today!

MCR Student Social kicked off at midday, with over 150 designer, high street, and independent stores offering massive discounts exclusively for students.

The event is organised by Manchester’s Buisness Improvement District (Manchester BID) in partnership with Manchester Arndale.

Jane Sharrocks, Manchester BID Chair and General Manager at Selfridges Exchange Square, said: “Our biannual MCR student Social events are incredibly popular and our event on Thursday is a great way to welcome students back to the city following the Easter break.”

Expect discounts from retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Topman, Victoria’s Secret, FootAsylum and many more!

If higher end brands are your thing, then Selfridges and Harvey Nichols will also have exclusive discounts, along with an evening of live DJ sets and complimentary drinks!

For the best beauty buys, you can also expect discounts from Superdrug, Boots, Nail Culture and the Body Shop, while Vodafone, The Carphone Warehouse, Samsung and EE will be offering exclusive discounts for all the techies out there!

There will be events running all over the city centre, with Manchester’s coolest adventure and trampoline park, Flip Out Manchester, coming to Market Street.
