Join The Clap For Our Carers Campaign Tonight!

0 229

Following an overwhelming response last week, the Clap For Our Carers campaign will see the nation recognise the NHS for their contribution in fighting the Coronavirus, for the second time, this evening.

On Thursday 2nd April at 8pm, people will stand at their front doors, or in their back gardens, balconies, or street to clap for our carers who are working the front-line to protect the nation against Covid-19.

ITV has announced they are pausing programming so everyone can show their support by “doing one simple thing: clap”.

The campaign aims to show NHS staff, supermarket workers, teachers, carers, amongst others, appreciation for keeping cities safe and connected during this pandemic.

A donation site can also been set up for key NHS workers to receive wellbeing packs, refund on transport, and other items requested by NHS charities.

The fund has raised £17 million so far. You can read more about it here.
