With the likes of Missguided and Boohoo calling the city home, Manchester is fast becoming one of most successful places for producing  some of world’s newest and fastest growing global fashion brands. Now, the fashion capital of the north has a new fashion first.

Runway96 is an independent fashion website that specialises in designer womenswear. Whether it be from one of the well known names like Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein or more of a niche brand like For Love And Lemons, Runway96 offers the complete package in the heart of Manchester.

As well as offering a standard delivery service, the site’s new ‘Premier’ service allows customers to order items and have them delivered on the same day anywhere in the city of Manchester. Order by 12pm for delivery by 5pm or before 2pm for delivery before 9pm. Couple this with the option to choose a delivery slot any time of the week, including weeknights and weekends, as well as courier collections of unwanted items which are free of charge, and the service becomes the fashion equivalent of Amazon’s Prime Now service. The service is offered within the postcodes of M1-M34, WA11-14 and SK7-9. Although, at £24.50 per order, the same day delivery charge may be a bit of a stretch for a student budget.

Runway96 Head of Operations Akeeb Ahmed said: “If all goes well, we have plans to expand this service to a wider catchment area and possibly even include new cities such as Liverpool!”

He added: “We felt it was about time that someone recognised that Manchester is where fashion is dominating right now. Our customers are fashionable, and they know exactly what they want and when they want it, so we are simply giving it to them.”

With a wide range of exclusive international labels and brands in one place, Runway96 is the place to go if you are tired of the same old offerings from the high street and if your busy lifestyle requires your fashion needs being delivered directly, and quickly, to your doorstep.
