Manchester Metropolitan kicks off GoGlobal Week 2025

Manchester Met is set to launch GoGlobal Week on Monday, a celebration of the University’s diverse global community and a platform to support students to prepare for international opportunities and careers.

Running from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th March, the week-long programme features expert panels, workshops and interactive events with an international focus designed to spotlight the university’s international reach and equip students with cross-cultural skills and a global outlook.

Hosted by Rise at Manchester Met, the university-wide event series aims to support students to develop cross-cultural skills, contribute to global discourse and build GoGlobal Rise points.

Ahead of GoGlobal Week, aAh! Magazine rounds up key highlights taking place as part of the programme.


3 March

Expert talk: Industry and Career Success with former executive at Nike (US)

Join CEO and former digital transformation executive at Nike, Greg Merrill, for an insight into his professional experience and tips for future leaders.

Expert Panel – Future Challenges and Opportunities in the World of Work

Hear from an award-winning West African sustainability entrepreneur, representatives from the International Labour Organisation, and an award-winning diversity and inclusion consultant from the US.
