Call for Writers: Halloween Theme

0 201

Halloween.

A time for horror and hilarity, for terror and trickery, but most of all a time for disguise.

That is why, dear readers, we are putting out a call to any and all writers from MMU. We want your work!

To celebrate this especially hidden time of year we want your best dressed tales of disguise and mystery. A myriad of madness and intrigue.  We want you to give us goosebumps. To chill us to the bone or split our sides with laughter. In short, we want anything and everything you can write on the theme of “Disguise”.

Here’s a few guidelines on submission before we get started.

  • We accept flash fiction (up to 500 words), short prose (500-2000 words) and poetry
  • We need your MMU ID number
  • We also need a short bio which can contain your full name, age, course, year, as well as any writing/ publication blog that you would like publicised
  • We will only accept submissions one at a time. So if you have more than one piece, please send it as a separate email.

Now for the fun bit. From now until Halloween we will be taking and posting submissions on the theme of Disguise.

Please let us know in the subject line of your email if your piece is to do with this event.

Please do also feel free to continue to submit other pieces, we will get to them as soon as we can. We look forward to hearing from you.

Until the next time,

                                                Team Luctus.
