Manchester-based online retail giant, In the Style, has raised over £200,000 in a day for Samaritans with a t-shirt that features a quote from the late Caroline Flack.
The t-shirt reads: ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind’.
The quote comes from a post that Caroline shared on Instagram at the start of December last year.
Caroline, 40, took her own life in her London apartment on the 15th of February, three weeks before she was meant to stand trial on domestic abuse charges.
The unisex top, which costs £10.00, comes in three colours: black, white, and grey, and sizes range from 6-8 to 22-24.
The #BeKind tees are currently sold out in all colours and sizes due to ‘unprecedented demand’.
In The Style tweeted: “We are truly grateful to everybody supporting our #BeKind tees and raising £200,00 overnight for Samaritans. We are currently sold out due to unprecedented demand but will you posted with updates as soon as we have more info”.
To maximise profits for Samaritans, any order that includes the t-shirt will receive free delivery.
Samaritans is a registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, often through their telephone helpline.
