This weekend Manchester saw tens of thousands of people attend this years annual Pride Festival.
The four-day festival celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, and saw headlining acts such as Anastasia, All Saints, Conchita and Pixie Lott.
The much-anticipated Pride Parade was held on Saturday, and brought a carnival atmosphere to the streets of Manchester with floats adorning decorations for this years theme ‘Love is Love’. Manchester Metropolitan University were involved in the parade with a float of their own, of which staff and students of MMU were invited to dress up and participate.
