Manchester’s ultimate student shopping event returns next Tuesday 24th September from 12 noon til 8pm
MCR Student Social kicks off at midday, with over 150 designer, high street, and independent stores offering massive discounts exclusively for students.
The event has a brand new sponsor TOTUM, the UK’s #1 student discount and proof of age ID card, and will be hosting a mini festival outside Urban Outfitters.
The event is expected to be bigger and better than ever with David Allinson, Centre Director at Manchester Arndale saying:
“There will be more discounts and lots of pop-up experiences in stores and on the street. There’s also up to 50% off food and drink to make the most of throughout the day.”
Expect discounts from retailers such as Jack Wills, Topshop, Topman, Victoria’s Secret, FootAsylum and more.
Selfridges and Harvey Nichols will also have exclusive discounts, along with an evening of live DJ sets and complimentary drinks.
For the best beauty buys, you can also expect discounts from Superdrug, Boots, Nail Culture and the Body Shop, while Vodafone, The Carphone Warehouse, Samsung and EE will be offering exclusive discounts for all the techies out there.
There will be events running all over the city centre, with Treetop Adventure Golf’s Hole in One Challenge on Market Street where students can win 18 holes in mini golf, as well as Flip Out Manchester beer goggles game in the Printworks.
TOTUM is also hosting a treasure hunt with a difference inside a giant ball dome in Exchange Court, where each game will see 8 players hunting for prizes in one minute inside their ballpit.
