Les Misérables

It’s been nearly a decade since the last UK tour of Les Mis, so grab your tickets quick! The Manchester stop runs for nearly five weeks and will feature all the classics including “I Dreamed a Dream” and “Bring Him Home”. The Whitworth’s current headline event – a free entry exhibition showcasing the work of South African artist William Kentridge. A selection of film, moving images, audio-visual installations, tapestries and drawings, the collection tackles a variety of topics and is presented in an environment designed by long-term collaborator Sabine Theunissen.

The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme

The final chance to see Rockarchive.com’s exhibition celebrating Manchester’s musical history. A collection from leading UK music photographers, the show covers the rise of punk, Factory Records, The Hacienda, Madchester and current day grime artists. The exhibition shows Manchester’s huge impact and continued influence on the UK’s music scene.
