Manchester’s multi-venue festival Neighbourhood returns next week, with new additions to the line-up and an opening party at Manchester Met’s student union featuring Blossoms.
The Stockport band will be joined by acclaimed composer Joe Duddell and an ensemble from the Royal Northern College of Music.

Fans who have already bought their Neighbourhood tickets will have the chance to upgrade them to include access to the opening party show, and a fresh wave of festival wristbands, which include opening party access, are now on sale here for £37.50 plus booking fees.
Idles, Queen Zee & The Sasstones, Touts, The Xcerts and Man and The Echo join headliners Peace and Rat Boy, along with more big names including: Mabel, Zak Abel, The Big Moon, The Amazons and Isaac Gracie.
Performances from over 100 artists will take place across Manchester’s best and most iconic music venues the south side of the city Saturday 7th October. As well as established names Neighbourhood will provide a platform showcasing local artists.
Mossley band Cabbage make their live return to the festival after a busy year along with local talent Rory Wynne, Jordan Max and Phoebe Green.
Scottish indie rockers The View will perform their debut album Hats Off to the Buskers in celebration of their debut album’s 10th anniversary, while The Subways will also make their live return at the event.
Look out for Doncaster lads The Blinders, who never fail to deliver a killer set, and two special guests to be announced soon.
The inaugural event last year saw Blossoms, Circa Waves, Liam Fray, White Lies, Twin Atlantic, The Sherlocks, Louis Berry, The Pigeon Detectives and more perform to sold out crowds and receive rave reviews across the board.
Venues staging this year’s gigs include The Albert Hall, the O2 Ritz, Sound Control, Gorilla, Deaf Institute, The Zoo, Revolution Oxford Road, Factory 251, Underdog and the Thirsty Scholar.
