Following Manchester’s terror attack, locals reporting a bomb squad and armed police attending a school in Hulme. The threat has now been reported as a “false alarm”.
Reports were received of a massive cordon around the Jackson Crescent area of Hulme. The incident occurred around the Castlefield Campus, which is on Limby Street.
Local resident Sean Glackin-Donahue said at the time of the police cordon: “Our road is now closed, we had to go in side because there’s a bomb scare across the road. There are hundreds of police here and we’re been told to go inside our homes.”
