Manchester and the entire UK is buzzing at the release of the Parklife 2016 lineup, and it is safe to say they certainly did not disappoint.

This year marks the fourth year the festival is returning to Heaton Park on the 11th and 12th June, after moving away from the original venue of Platt Fields, due to the festivals continuous progression and growth. Not only can this growth be seen from the size of the festival, but it also shines through the line-up. Headliners for 2016 consist of The Chemical Brothers and Ice Cube, both of which will be starring on the main stage on the Saturday of the festival.

An array of DJs are also on the magical list, ready to bless our ears with unforgettable beats to start off the summer right. There will be the likes of Adam Beyer, Annie Mac, DJ EZ and Andy C. From Techno to Drum and Bass, there is definitely a bit of something to take everyone’s fancy.

Another big name that will be gracing Manchester come June is the great Craig David. Craig David is set to perform on the Saturday of the festival, where he will have us singing and raving to his latest release When The Bassline Drops – I’m sure his classics will be played as well, don’t worry!

All in all, it’s safe to say Parklife have smashed it once again. With the final pre-sale tickets released tomorrow and general sale going out on Thursday, it’s definitely a good idea to guarantee that ticket, as judging from the lineup the tickets won’t be around too long. So why not start your summer off right, in the best city, with the best music – it’s a win win!
