Toots and the Maytals return to Manchester for their ‘Reggae Got Soul’ 50th anniversary tour.


Following their hugely successful 2025 tour, Toots and the Maytals return to Manchester to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their landmark album, Reggae Got Soul.

Fronted for decades by Frederick ‘Toots’ Hibbert – named by Rolling Stone among the 100 greatest singers of all time and often dubbed “The Otis Redding of Reggae” – the band’s legacy continues, with his daughter, Leba Hibbert, now leading performances following his death in 2020.

The show promises a setlist packed with classics such as ‘54-46 was my number’, ‘Pressure Drop’, and ‘Funky Kingston’, alongside deeper cuts spanning their long recording history.

UK dates include a stop at Manchester’s New Century Hall, as the group bring their unmistakable sound back to British stages.

The shows will be a chance to celebrate the lasting legacy of Toots and the Maytals for fans young and old – a moment to reconnect with songs that defined an era and experience a piece of music history.
