Brass Art: rock, quiver and bend

Business Start Up Boot Camp

Start your own business venture, social enterprise or freelance journey with support from external facilitators, resources, mentoring and advice. This will cover the initial building blocks of setting up a successful business and will provide support, advice, resources, guidance and mentoring to help you create a commercially viable venture. The Sally Sessions

A new radio broadcast series is launching at The Salutation Pub this summer in collaboration with radio platform, Slack City MCR. The new show offers a platform for student musicians, poets, and artists to broadcast their work. Their next event is this September – stay tuned!
Threads of Evolution

A duo exhibition that intertwines the artistic practices of Oriana Loucaidou and Joseph Taylor. This exhibition invites viewers to explore the rich narrative woven through tradition, feminism, and modernity, highlighting the interplay between embroidery and sculpture.
Parklife Festival

When Parklife throws a party, the city stops. Packed with pop, grime, and good times, this might be the only time techno and DNB fans can dance in the same field. This year’s highlights
include Doja Cat, Kaytranada and Sugababes.
Deptford Northern Soul Club

If you’re just not into Parklife, you’re not alone. The DNSC team return to YES for their monthly takeover. Expect stompers, floaters, and floor-shakers.

An exclusive pre-premier screening of Yupumá, a film set in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest by Verónica Castro with the collaboration of Kawá Huni Kuin, a tribesman from the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.
Writer’s Workshop – Community Space

A fortnightly workshop for all budding writers to come together and carve out some dedicated time for writing projects. Hanimale offers a compelling and thought-provoking portrayal of the (Protagonist/s) refugee experience, urging the audience to reflect on the imposition of power on humans in seemingly humane situations.
Summer Solstice – Outdoor Garage Festival

Outbreak Festival
28/06/24 – 30/06/24 @ B.E.C Arena
Hardcore punk fans rejoice, Outbreak Fest returns this June for three days of heavy metal. As Europe’s biggest indoor metal festival, expect face-melting live acts and some seriously sweaty mosh-pits. Headliners include Action Bronson, Basement and American Football.

Big Telly – Bunker Talk #136

Curated by the Performance Research Group at Manchester School of Art, Bunker Talks invite artists and researchers to talk about who they are and what they do. Big Telly brings world class theatre to small communities in Northern Ireland, and brings their voices to the world stage. A conduit between rural communities and urban platforms, providing a space for exchange, brokering wider conversations about the local, the global and our place in society.

Brave Space

Inspired by the idea of creating community in divisive times. Starting as a puddle of fabric on the floor, it grows to encompass a world of wondrous circus.
