Reading and Leeds Festival holds the title for being one of the most influential festivals in the UK, so it is no surprise that we see an annual community of dedicated music fans return year after year.

The festival is set to return to Richfield Avenue in Reading as well as Bramham Park in Leeds this August bank holiday weekend. It hosts an impressive multi-genre line-up, providing a weekend to suit everybody’s taste.

aAh! will be heading out to Leeds Festival this weekend to see what they have in store. But with a multitude of bands to see and events to experience, we’re confident it’ll be a weekend like no other.

This year’s line-up is a combination of all kinds of sounds, headlined by Billie Eilish, Sam Fender and the highly anticipated The Killers.

Following Lewis Capaldi’s unfortunate withdrawal from this year’s event, The 1975 have stepped in as a last-minute replacement. This announcement caused an uproar online, receiving mixed signals across social media – however, they’ll most definitely be a band on our ‘to watch’ list.

Ranging from UK drill icon Central Cee, to one of the up-and-coming hardcore bands Knocked Loose, the selection of artists truly provides the perfect festival experience.

On top of these incredible acts, Declan Mckenna and BICEP are predicted to put on the perfect festival-worthy sets to get the crowds going and the energy high. If those aren’t enough to satisfy the needs to dance, the party doesn’t stop until early hours of the morning if you head to the lively Anachronica Stage once the arena closes.

Elsewhere, Bakar and Easy Life return to the Reading and Leeds stages to provide the chilled-out vibes some of us might need after a few days of camping in the luxurious English fields. Worry not, though- the weather forecast is looking hopeful.

Whether you’re going for the overall vibes or for a specific band on the roster, Reading and Leeds will be the perfect finale to this year’s summer, and it is most definitely not one to miss out on.
