The Backseat Lovers kicked off their year touring around the world this month with a performance at Manchester’s O2 Ritz.
The up-and-coming alternative rock band who formed in Provo, Utah, started their career when frontman Joshua Harmon sought out local legend Juice Welch (drums) and went on to secure victory in a 2018 Velour Battle of the Bands.
The Manchester crowd welcomed the band with a huge cheer as they opened their set with an instrumental introduction of ‘Silhouette’. The night was electric as Harmon did not hold back, rocking out on his guitar to hits ‘Pool House’ and ‘Growing/Dying’.
Fans cheered for an encore before The Backseat Lovers went on to play one more song together followed by Harmon returning solo, to play two more songs on his own.
