Call for Submissions: Creative Writing and Featured Artwork – Strangers in the City

0 471

Manchester is a vibrant city that attracts people from all walks of life from all over the world. Whether they be students or lecturers, artists or scientists, our city is a magnet for unique and interesting people just waiting to have their story told, or perhaps inspire a completely new one.

Which peculiar people have you met in Manchester, and how did they make you feel? What about them intrigued you? Did you try to get to know them, or did you settle by romanticising them from afar? Is it better to risk disillusionment for the sake of meeting someone new? Can you truly judge a book by its cover? By exploring our impressions of others, we can better understand ourselves.
