BREAKING NEWS: Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre evacuated

0 420

Witnesses have described how people have been evacuated from the Arndale shopping centre in panic over rumours of a bomb threat.

This comes after last night’s devastating terror attack at the Manchester Arena which left 22 people dead and 59 injured.

The first victim has now been named as Georgina Bethany Callander.

Reports are coming in that a man, 23, was arrested in connection with the Manchester Arena bombing in South Manchester this morning.

A further arrest has been made at the Arndale shopping centre but is unconnected to bombing. The area has now been made safe and people are being allowed back inside.

Police believe that a lone suicide bomber was responsible for last night’s attack at the Manchester Arena. Victims have been taken to a number of hospitals across the city. Greater Manchester Chief constable Ian Hopkins said, “This is the most horrific incident we have ever faced.”

More coming soon.
