Four piece Danish band Lukas Graham are embarking on an eight date UK tour this month, starting on Saturday 25th February in Dublin. The band will be arriving at the Manchester Academy on Thursday 2nd March.
Lukas Graham released their debut self-titled album in 2012. Their 2016 second album, again a self-titled release that has since become known as the Blue Album, gained international attention, landing at number two in the UK charts. The lead single ‘7 Years’ became the band’s first UK number one single and is known for its story-telling and simple, catchy tune. As of July 2016, ‘7 Years‘ had over 480 million Spotify streams, cementing it as one of the most listened to songs of 2016. Lead vocalist Lukas Forchhammer is set to put on a show that will delight their fans.
Supporting Lukas Graham will be Hein Cooper, who released his debut EP in 2015 and debut album The Art of Escape in 2016. Hein Cooper is set to delight fans with his eclectic sound and is certainly a support worth watching.
