0 190

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner, whether you’ll race it or walk it, you’ll be happy to hear all Manchester Met staff and students can take part in the Greater Manchester Run 10K for a discounted price this year.

You’ll start the race alongside Manchester Met staff and students, and you’ll get the same goodies, and finisher pack as all other entrants, but at a much discounted price of £20, rather than the usual £38 entry fee, all you’ll need is a valid met card.

The Great Manchester Run 10K is no ordinary run, there are ten music zones, DJs, and live bands as well as thousands of supporters cheering you over the line.

If you’re new to running there’s plenty of time to go from couch to 10k. Do it for charity, do it for fun, but don’t worry, you don’t have to do it alone.

The race is on Sunday 28th May, giving you plenty of time to begin a training plan, and get yourself into shape.

You can find tips for training and signing up at on the MMU Sport website and when you’ve decided to enter you can get your hands on the discounted entry through the MMU store here.
