The hugely popular pop-up cinema is returning to Victoria Baths for two festive film screenings this Christmas.

On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th December, the Village Screen will transform the stunning Gala Pool at Victoria Baths into a festive cinema, for two nights only.

The grade II listed former swimming pool will be showing Home Alone on Friday followed by Elf on Saturday.

Audiences will be seated on vintage deckchairs inside the old pool. There will also be a bar serving prosecco, wine and craft beer, open throughout both nights, and street food favourites from Dim Sum Su and Proove Pizza on offer.

The cinema is returning to Manchester following a successful screening of Jaws earlier this year.

Guests are advised to bring a blanket or hot water bottle to keep the chill at bay, as the pool is not heated (or filled!)

Doors open for each event at 6.30pm and the films start at 8pm. Pool level tickets are priced at £14.50 for adults (over 16) and £11.50 for children (ages 12 and up only) and students. Mezzanine level tickets cost £13.50 or £10.50.
