Party With A Purpose is a new enterprise set up by students to provide a place for individuals looking for creative ways to raise money for charity, while enriching their CVs.
On Thursday 10th November, Party With A Purpose (PWAP), a group of students from Manchester Metropolitan University, will combine music, dancing and charity at a brand new LoveDisco event at The Deaf Institute, Manchester.
PWAP and LoveDisco partner with the registered charity Love Support Unite, who work alongside communities in Malawi to help bring about sustainable solutions to the problems of poverty in order to create lasting, significant and measurable change. The charity targets its work on areas in these communities such as: education; enterprise opportunities; access to clean water and health education and medical checks.
Love Support Unite’s usual source of charitable income is through Love Specs. These are heart shaped glasses that refract all light into rainbow love hearts; they have been sold at festivals in the UK and abroad for the last four years in order to fuel the incredible work that Love Support Unite do in Malawi.
