Altrincham News will host a special BBC Children in Need event this year.

The event will take place at Tavern on the Green in Altrincham on 18th November at 7:30pm.

Crowds will be entertained by a DJ and a charity karaoke session. Charging just 50p per go, guests will be able to sing their hearts out for a good cause with all proceeds donated to BBC Children in Need.

The Tavern on the Green has hit headlines recently after playing host to pop megastar Justin Bieber.

Sarah Naylor, Altrincham News Presenter/Manager and one of the event organisers, said, “We’ve got Pudsey making an appearance as well as Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and Tangled’s Rapunzel! We also have the rocking and rolling Vengalis and the amazing Jordan Drinkwater taking to the stage too. We hope you all have a wonderful night and that we raise a good amount for this truly wonderful cause!”
