Dean Strang and Jerry Buting, the attorneys defending Steven Avery in the hit Netflix documentary series ‘Making a Murderer’, are coming to Manchester this weekend for a discussion at the Royal National College of Music Concert Hall.
Strang and Buting became a hit on the series for their perseverance and compelling arguments on the case in which they attempt to prove the innocence of Steven Avery, who has previously been exonerated of a rape conviction after serving 18 years in prison.
The Making a Murderer series was in the spotlight last month when Avery’s nephew, Brendan Dassey, was set to be released from prison after his murder conviction was overturned. A new series of Making a Murderer is already in the works which will detail Dassey’s release and further attempts to prove Avery’s innocence.
The event will take place on Saturday 22nd October and currently tickets for the 8:00pm discussion are still available to book. Tickets cost £30.
