Beauty: Summer skin favourites

Hey guys!

When it comes to flawless skin, it’s vital to remember that with a little tender loving care, beauty will shine through.

We can all have those busy, crazy and hard working days, where at end of the night we literally can not be bothered detoxifying our skin of all the makeup and pollution built up over the day. Quite frankly, often we just want to crash out and sleep! The downsides to this though are the spots and blemishes that are sure to follow!

My advice to you all this month is, even if it’s just 5 minutes, spend time to clean your beautiful face! I’ve put together a few of my favourite skin products this month to help you on your way to gorgeous summer skin…

It’s all about the eyes

clq_61EP01_402x464A favourite of mine is Clinique’s All About Eyes. It’s a beautiful eye cream which is small and lightweight. I like using this cream as it really helps to diminish the appearance of puffy eyes and dark circles (which I am trying to get rid off!) The cream also helps to hold makeup in place, so I tend to use it in the morning before I apply my makeup on and then again at night, after I have removed my makeup.

Scrub, scrub, scrub!

One of my ultimate body scrub fave this year is Chidem Beauty’s Personalised Beauty Body Silk Treatment Scrub! Not only does it feel super soft, but it is also works as a luxuriously revitalising and detoxifying body treatment scrub blended with your own choice of essential oils.

This exclusive Himalayan Salt and African Cupuacu Seed Scrub stimulates and tones for glowing healthy-looking skin. Oh, I almost forgot to mention – Chidem’s treatments are all made from natural ingredients so you’ll be glad to know there are no harsh chemicals!

I definitely recommend this scrub and because it is personalized to how you want it, with your choice of ingredients, adding that extra little touch of luxury. Chidem is elegant woman, with a kind hearted spirit, and I am so lucky to have met her many many years ago and we have remained friends ever since!

Helping hand

g6152_2015Hand cream is essential! It’s important to moisturise, not just to keep your hands looking healthy, but to reduce any cracks and dryness which can cause breakdown of the skin if your skin is not taken care of!

I adore Zoella Beauty’s Wonder Hand moisturising hand cream. It has a lovely calming feminine fragrance and, honestly, it leaves my hands feeling super soft and so silky! I also love the fact it contains vitamin E, which is vital for your skin cells (can you tell I am a nurse and an educator?) The hand cream fits in my bag so it’s also very handy to take it with me on my travels.
