Great news for Stranger Things fans!

A second series of this summer’s surprise hit Stranger Things, has been officially announced today and will hit screens in 2017. A teaser video, posted on the Stranger Things Twitter and YouTube page, confirms the episode titles.

The series will feature nine episodes including ‘Madmax’, ‘The boy who came back to life’, ‘The Pollywog’ and ‘The Lost Brother’. Fans are already speculating whether “The Lost Brother” is a relation to Eleven and whether she will make a return in the new episodes.

The return of the show doesn’t come as a surprise to many due to its resounding success with viewers making the first season the third most-watched show commissioned by Netflix.

Created by the Duffer brothers, the series is influenced by 1980s film and television and references filmmakers and writers including Stephen King and Steven Spielberg. Co-creator Matt Duffer promises the new series will be “a little bit different… a little bit darker”.
