By Amber Hodson

Tomorrow, June 7th, is the last day that members of the public can register to vote in the EU Referendum. On 23rd June, the United Kingdom will go to the polling stations and vote in the biggest referendum in a generation. This vote could change the country forever, but if you are not registered to vote then your opinions will not matter.

For many weeks now, the whole of the country has been engaged in a debate as to whether Britain should stay in or leave the European Union but, whether you wish to vote to stay in or vote out, registering is the only way you will be able to make a change to the future of the United Kingdom. If you would like to register before the deadline, go to the gov.uk website as soon as possible and make sure you have your say.

Update: The deadline for voting registration has been extended until midnight on June 9th.
